Microblading is my manual hairstroke technique designed to give you the most natural looking, realistic brows. I use a very fine handheld tool to create tiny strokes that mimic real brow hairs while gently implanting pigment into the skin.

My approach is always light-handed and precise. I prioritise a natural healed result that looks balanced and undetectable when you have no other makeup on.

Who Is Microblading Best For?

This technique is best for:

Clean, crisp, hair-like strokes
Soft, subtle, natural-looking results
Normal, dry or combination skin types
Finer natural brow hair
Those with gaps or sparse areas in the brow

Who Should Avoid Microblading

Microblading will work for most skin types, but it’s not recommended for skin with enlarged pores, as the strokes will likely blur during healing. In these cases, a soft powder or machine technique gives a more flattering, long-lasting result.

Nano Brows

Nano Brows (also known as hyperrealism brows) are ultra-fine, machine-created hairstrokes designed to mimic real brow hairs. Using a very fine needle and a gentle technique, I create soft, seamless strokes that blend beautifully with your natural brow hair.

If you love natural brows but want more shape, structure or fullness, this is a beautiful option.

Who Are Nano Brows Best For?

This technique is best for:

Soft, airy, detailed hair strokes
A gentle, machine-based technique
Normal or dry skin types (but also suitable for oily or combination skin)
Sensitive or mature skin as this method is more gentle than microblading
All brow types, from very sparse to naturally full brows
Those who prefer something slightly fuller and fluffier

Who Should Avoid Nano Brows

Although this treatment can work for oily skin I would not recommend for those with enlarged pores as the strokes don’t tend to stay as crisp and defined.

Powder Brows

Powder Brows (also known as Ombré Brows) are a soft, shaded style of permanent makeup that gives the brows a fuller, more defined look while still appearing natural. Instead of hairstrokes, I use a machine to create a gentle wash of colour that builds from light at the front to slightly more definition through the arch and tail.

They heal beautifully soft, not blocky, not heavy, just a perfect “powdered-in” brow that looks like makeup but with a natural finish.

Powder Brows are ideal if you love a tidy, structured brow or if you want something low-maintenance that always looks polished.

Who Are Powder Brows Best For?

Powder Brows suit almost everyone, and they’re especially good for clients who:

Want a soft, shaded, makeup-like finish
Prefer more definition than hairstrokes

Have oily, textured or more mature skin
Have enlarged pores (this is the technique that works best)
Have sparse brows or thck brows with gaps to even out

Yes, they heal into a soft, misty wash of colour, not a harsh block. You can choose how soft or defined you want them.

How long do Powder Brows last?

Most clients find it very comfortable. It usually feels like light buzzing sensation, and numbing is used to keep you relaxed.

Will they look dark at first?
Yes, they appear darker for the first week and then soften by around 30–40% as they heal.

Do I need a top-up?
Yes, usually 6–10 weeks after your first appointment.

Can you top up my old powder brows?
Only if they are very faded and light. If you have done them elsewhere and they are heavy or grey then I would recommend removal first.

Combination Brows

Combination Brows (also known as Combo Brows) are a mix of soft hairstrokes, usually at the front of the brow with a gentle powder finish through the middle and tail. This gives you the best of both worlds, natural texture at the front and a little more definition where most people need it.

The overall effect is still soft and natural, but slightly fuller and more polished than hairstrokes alone.

It’s ideal if you love the look of real hair at the front but want the rest of the brow to look more even, tidy and filled.

Are Combination Brows good if I’ve had previous brow work?
Often yes — especially if your old work is uneven or patchy. I’ll assess your brows beforehand.

To ensure the best results and a smooth healing process, please follow the guidelines below before your brow treatment.

6 Weeks Before

Stop using retinol, retinoids, tretinoin, AHA/BHA acids, or any skin-thinning products on the forehead area.

4 Weeks Before

No chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, or intense facials on the forehead/brow area.
Avoid sunburn or any irritation.
Do not have brow lamination.

2 Weeks Before

Avoid Botox around the forehead for at least 2 weeks (longer if possible, to prevent changes in brow position).
Avoid brow tinting (if needed, do it at least 1 week before your appointment).
Stop using brow growth serums

48 Hours Before

Avoid alcohol.
Avoid, where medically safe: ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, garlic tablets, and St John’s Wort.
Do NOT stop any prescribed medication without consulting your doctor—just let me know.

Day of Treatment

No caffeinated drinks.
Wash your hair the morning of your appointment.
Avoid exercise right before your appointment.

Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your brows heal well and maintain their colour and shape. Please follow these guidelines carefully.

First 10 Days

Keep brows dry: Avoid getting your eyebrows wet. If they accidentally get wet in the shower, gently blot them dry with a tissue — do not use a towel or rub them.
Avoid steam: No hot showers, baths, saunas, or steam rooms.
No sweating: Avoid exercise or any activity that causes perspiration.
Sleep carefully: Try not to let your brows rub against your pillow and avoid wearing eye masks.
No Botox around the brow area.

After 2 Weeks

You may start wearing makeup on your brows once the initial healing period is over.

Up to 4 Weeks

Avoid excessive sun exposure. After 4 weeks, protect your brows from week 2 with SPF 50 to prevent premature fading.
Avoid light therapy, chemical exfoliants, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments on or around the brow area.

Ongoing Care

Avoid using products with retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid on the brow area, as well as acid peels, to prevent fading.

Day of Treatment

No caffeinated drinks.
Wash your hair the morning of your appointment.
Avoid exercise right before your appointment.
